About

A small agency with exacting standards.

Artmost is founder-run and based in Sydney. We represent artists, build their websites and shops, plan their visibility, and support the moments when work needs to meet an audience.

We believe an artist's public presence should feel as considered as the work itself: clear without becoming generic, practical without becoming transactional, and built to grow over time.

The founder

Yury Kuczko

Founder, Artmost. Sydney, Australia.

I came to this from engineering rather than from the art world. For years I built and ran software that had to work every day, for real users, under real load — which is where the insistence on structure, speed, accessibility and maintainability comes from.

Artmost exists because that discipline is unusually scarce in the space where artists actually operate. Most artist websites are either beautiful and unmaintainable, or maintainable and forgettable. Holding both at once is a solvable engineering problem, and it is the one I find worth solving.

I work with a small number of artists at a time. The person who scopes your project is the person who builds it, and the standard does not change between the two.

Principles

The work leads.

Design clarifies the practice; it does not compete with it.

Clarity is generous.

Collectors, curators and collaborators should understand what they are seeing and how to take the next step.

Systems preserve momentum.

A platform that cannot be updated is not a long-term asset.

On AI

Where the machine helps, and where it does not.

We use AI where it genuinely improves research, organisation and production speed. It does not replace artistic judgement, editorial care or accountability for the final work.
