Yelena Art Studio

Building a digital gallery, store and global print pathway for Yelena Revis

Yelena Revis had a substantial body of original work and a growing collector audience, but needed a more convincing and scalable digital home. Artmost rebuilt the platform around 400+ artworks, created clearer pathways for originals and prints, and connected the store to automated fulfilment for eligible print orders.

Faceless II by Yelena Revis, an abstract painting of anonymous figures in deep reds and earth tones.

The brief

Yelena Revis is a Sydney painter working in oil and acrylic, with a practice large enough that the archive itself had become the problem. More than four hundred original paintings, plus print editions, were spread across an ageing website and a marketplace profile.

The studio needed a platform that could present a large and evolving body of work, support collector enquiries, and treat originals and prints as the genuinely different products they are.

The challenge

The challenge was not simply to create a more attractive artist website. The studio needed a platform capable of presenting a large and evolving body of work, supporting collector enquiries, handling originals and print products differently, and reducing manual operational work as online orders increased.

Three constraints shaped everything:

Scale. Four hundred paintings and close to a thousand purchasable variants. At that size a single gallery grid stops being browsable — everything looks equally important, so nothing does.

Two different products. An original painting sells once, to one person, often after a conversation. A print can sell repeatedly, immediately, to anyone. Presenting both through the same checkout would have undersold the originals and complicated the prints.

Operational load. Every print order that requires the artist to pack a tube and visit a post office is a tax on studio time that scales badly with success.

The solution

Artmost reorganised the collection around clearer browsing and artwork-detail experiences, built an online gallery and store designed for both considered viewing and practical collector action, and implemented a structured content model the studio can maintain as new work is released.

Each work is a record rather than a page: title, medium, true dimensions, series, availability and whether prints exist. The site renders views onto that catalogue, so adding a painting is one entry that appears correctly everywhere it should.

Originals lead to enquiry and are capped so the same piece cannot be sold twice. Prints lead to checkout. Augmented-reality previews, generated from each work’s true dimensions, let a visitor place a painting at correct scale on their own wall — which addresses the most common hesitation before buying art online.

From artwork to print order—without the manual fulfilment burden

Artmost sourced and integrated Prodigi as the print-on-demand fulfilment provider for eligible print products on yelenarevis.art. Rather than requiring the artist to hold print inventory, pack orders or coordinate production manually, the site can pass eligible orders into an automated production and fulfilment workflow.

The result is a more scalable way to offer selected artworks as prints: the artist retains control of the collection, product selection and retail pricing, while the fulfilment process is designed to operate behind the scenes.

What Artmost delivered:

  • Product and print-format selection
  • Artwork file preparation and print-product setup
  • Store-to-fulfilment order routing through a custom, provider-agnostic connector
  • Customer address and shipping-data flow
  • White-label fulfilment configuration
  • A pricing and margin model that accounts for wholesale and shipping cost per order

The connector was deliberately built provider-agnostic rather than hard-wired to one supplier, so the studio is not locked to a single print network if terms, quality or coverage change.

High-resolution master files sit in a vault outside the web root and are never exposed to visitors. The AR assets are generated with capped textures, so no full-resolution artwork can be extracted from the site.

Boundary: print availability, production times, shipping destinations, fulfilment partners, product specifications and returns are subject to the active supplier configuration and the store’s published terms. Artmost does not manufacture prints itself, and is not a Prodigi partner, reseller or affiliate.

Built to be found—not only to be admired

Artmost established a discoverability foundation for Yelena Art Studio: a clearer content hierarchy, search-friendly page structure, descriptive artwork information, image metadata, internal linking and structured product information where applicable. The aim was to make the work easier for collectors to encounter through search, image discovery and AI-assisted answers over time.

Boundary: search visibility is built over time and cannot be guaranteed. Results depend on content quality, competition, crawlability, technical performance, authority, demand and changes to search platforms.

Operational outcomes

  • 400+ original works and 900+ print variants migrated into one structured catalogue
  • Augmented-reality previews generated from true dimensions, verified on iOS Quick Look and Android Scene Viewer
  • Originals and prints separated into distinct buyer pathways, with originals capped at a single sale
  • Automated print-fulfilment route configured for eligible products, with order routing verified against the provider’s sandbox
  • Commission tracking implemented, calculating agent commission from sale revenue net of wholesale and shipping cost
  • The studio publishes and updates work without developer involvement
  • Page performance measured at roughly 1.5 seconds to largest contentful paint on both desktop and mobile in Australia

Traffic and revenue figures are deliberately not claimed. The site is recent, and we will publish measured outcomes only with a defined metric, source and period behind them.
